Gold standard 8% L-Mandelic Serum is an alpha hydroxy acid serum that contains the chirally correct versions of both l-mandelic acid and l-lactic acid. L-Mandelic acid has a larger molecular weight than other alpha hydroxy acids slowing down epidermal penetration resulting in a more even exfoliation with less irritation. This water-based serum is recommended for skin prone to inflamed acne, noninflamed acne, fungal folliculitis, and hyperpigmentation. Recommended for skin that needs a boost up from 5% L-Mandelic and for use on the back. 1.0 fl oz. (30mL)

How To Use
How To Use
Cleanse
Begin with a gentle, non‑stripping cleanser. Make sure your skin is fully clean before applying any active treatments.
Dry skin
Ensure your face is completely dry—acid products are more irritating on damp skin.
Apply serum
- New packaging: use 1 pump for your entire face or affected areas.
- Old packaging: use 2 pumps for the same coverage.
- Spread evenly, avoid the eye and lip areas.
Absorption time
Let the serum absorb for about 1–2 minutes (or until it feels set) before layering anything else.
Moisturize
Follow with a hydrating, non-comedogenic moisturizer to support the skin barrier and reduce potential irritation.
Start frequency
Use once daily in the evening at first. If your skin tolerates it well, it may be increased (as advised by your skincare professional).
SPF is non-negotiable
Because this is an exfoliating acid (AHA), daily use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+) is essential to protect against UV damage.
