Gold standard 5% L-Mandelic Serum is an alpha hydroxy acid serum that contains the chirally correct versions of both l-mandelic acid and l-lactic acid. L-Mandelic acid has a larger molecular weight than other alpha hydroxy acids slowing down epidermal penetration resulting in a more even exfoliation with less irritation.
Recommended for skin prone to all types of acne, folliculitis, and hyperpigmentation.

How To Use
How To Use
Cleanse
Start with a gentle, non‑stripping cleanser. Ensure all makeup, sunscreen, and build‑up are removed.
Dry skin
Wait until your face is completely dry. Applying acids to damp skin increases the chance of irritation.
Apply serum
- Use 1 pump (new packaging) or 2 pumps (older packaging) over the whole face or on targeted areas.
- Spread evenly, avoiding the eye and lip zones.
Absorption time
Allow the serum to sit and absorb for about 1–2 minutes before applying other products.
Moisturize
Follow immediately with a hydrating, barrier‑supportive moisturizer to reduce potential dryness or irritation.
SPF is non‑negotiable
Mandelic acid increases sun sensitivity, so apply a broad‑spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+ or higher) every morning.
Frequency
Begin with once daily in the evening, and if your skin tolerates it, increase to twice daily as recommended by your acne specialist.
