How To Use
How To Use
Cleanse
Start with a gentle, non-stripping cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. Make sure your face is clean.
Dry skin
Ensure your skin is completely dry. Applying benzoyl peroxide on damp skin can increase irritation.
Apply treatment
Use a thin layer (about a nickel‑sized amount) over the affected areas (or the whole face, depending on instructions). Avoid the eye and lip areas.
Start gradually
- Days 1‑3: leave on for ~15 minutes, then cleanse off, tone, moisturize.
- Days 4‑5: increase to ~30 minutes.
- Days 8‑10: ~60 minutes.
- Days 11‑13: ~2 hours.
- From Day 14 onward: if skin tolerates it (no excessive irritation or dehydration), leave on overnight.
Moisturize
After using Acne Med, follow with a hydrating, barrier‑supporting moisturizer. You may also apply a water‑based hydrating serum or gel underneath Acne Med for added comfort.
SPF is non-negotiable
Because benzoyl peroxide can make skin more sensitive to the sun, apply broad‑spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+ or higher) every morning. Avoid sun exposure.
